Indigo Tarran

Indigo Tarran is a dancer interested in the links between movement practices and the physical tasks of manual labour, including traditional industries.

Indigo is passionate about creating work from their own personal experiences, that of others and the natural world. Growing up in Pembrokeshire, the hills, woods and beaches were the most accessible studio and an immediate source of inspiration.

Indigo drew on and researched these themes during a Dance and Choreography degree at Falmouth University, residencies with Maynard Abercych and Groundwork Pro Cardiff.

Currently based in Cardiff, the industrial wasteland of Splott Beach has become Indigo’s landscape for play and studio for exploration.
